The Golf Course opened for the 2008/09 season on Sunday, 23 March 2008 with the Club Captain Donnie Godsman and the Ladies' Captain Doreen Brain driving off in fine style.  They were suitably accompanied by the Club President John Duncan proving that he could drive off as well as any.
